PASTORAL COUNSELING PROGRAM

Welcome to the Pastoral Counseling program at Saint Paul International University. Our study program will prepare you to guide and help people in difficult times in their lives, offering them support and advice from a Christian perspective.

Pastoral Counseling is a fundamental discipline in the life of the church and in the world today. In a context in which anxiety, stress and uncertainty are increasingly common, Pastoral Counseling offers a hopeful and positive vision to overcome life’s challenges.

In our study program, you will learn to apply biblical and theological principles in pastoral counseling, through a practical and relevant approach. You will also develop communication and active listening skills, and you will acquire the necessary knowledge to understand the psychological and emotional challenges that people face in their daily lives.

Our curriculum includes subjects such as: Pastoral Psychology, Family Counseling, Pastoral Theology, Ethics and Values, among others. In addition, we offer supervised internships in real contexts, so that you can put into practice your skills and knowledge acquired during the program.
